The book Lighting Methods for Photographing Museum Objects has just been published by Carl Bigras, Mylène Choquette and Jeremy Powell. The authors work at the Canadian Conservation Institute here in Ottawa.
Carl Bigras a Program alumni and Mylène Choquette are also part of the Photography Program Advisory Committee. This committee, made up of professional photographers, helps shape the course of the Photography Program.
This book is a must read for those working at Art Galleries and Museums and a great read for our students. This book will soon be available at the LRC here at the college and many of the techniques discussed in this book are already taught here within the Program.
