Stephen Shore - The Nature of Photographs

Stephen Shore is a Professor at Bard College in New York State he is also one of America's greatest contemporary photographers.

Edward Steichen added Shore's images to the photographic collection at MoMA when Shore was only 14. He had his first photographic show at MoMA when he was 24, hung out with Andy Warhol at his factory and went on to produce some of the most interesting photographs of the last half century.

This book explores the "nature of photographs" and is a recent addition to the Learning Resource Centre.

Beaumont Newhall - The History of Photography
