Exhibition Setup 2010

Our Annual Photographic Exhibition setup in the Klondike Room at 343 Preston, thanks to Adobe Canada for once again allowing us to use their facilities.

Jonathan Klein | TED Talk

Jonathan Klein, one of the founders of Getty Images, gave a TED Talk on February 2010 about the importance of photographs.

For those interested in seeing some iconic images and a discussion of their importance this lecture is for you.

For those that have not been introduced to the TED series of lectures take sometime to visit the site and watch some very interesting, very free lectures that will open your mind to new ideas. It is a lot better than watching TV.

Worldwide Pinhole Day | April 25, 2010

This year April 25, 2010 is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day so get your Pinhole Cameras out and on April 25 start shooting.

First Year Portfolio Drop Off 2010

Congratulations to all the first year students upon completion of their black and white portfolios.

This vignette was photographed over seven hours and one minute the day the portfolios were due. One image shot every thirty seconds for a total of eight hundred and forty-two shots.

Jodi Pudge, Toronto based photographer and graduate of the Algonquin Photography Program, is once again judging the Best Website for our annual Photography Exhibition.
